Air Tightness Test results must be input to SAP or SBEM to determine the on construction energy rating. The result must be within Part L requirements and low air permeability can significantly improve ratings.

An air tightness test must be performed when all external envelopes of a new building are completed (including plasterwork).

Gregg Woodall Associates provides air pressure testing as an element of the aproved calculations and EPC production.

Minor improvements can often be made on site to ensure the best possible air permeability measurement.

Air Pressure Tests are performed in accordance with the requirements of ATTMA Technical Standard 1.
